You deserve support, too.
Join us for a mental health therapy group crafted for parents and caregivers of cleft-affected children.
As a fellow parent of a beautiful baby with cleft lip and palate, I understand what it’s like to navigate through the first year of medical appointments, surgeries, uncertainties, and complex emotions common amongst most parents of children with cleft lip and/or palate. Even as a mental health therapist, I struggled to cope and yearned for community that understood what we were going through.
This is the therapy group I wish was available to me in those tender first months. Whether you are a caregiver of a newborn undergoing NAM treatments or parent of a 15-year-old preparing for their next surgery, we’re here for you. To receive and offer care; to listen, honor, and join one another through our individual and intersectional stories.
